Yet another beautiful hand built masterpiece from the famous Chickering Piano Company built after a century of perfecting the art. This piano is from the peak of Chickerings production period and reflects the top notch workmanship, feel, and sound that a piano of this quality has to offer.The sound of the piano has a very delicate water like tone that makes playing ballads addictive as the instrument glistens with every chord. It has a unique accelerated action with less compression on each note which allows the player to play fast easily while still getting a full force tone out of every key. This is a great piano to learn proper technique on, it really wants the player to utalize their fingers with the force of a hammer. With out ten fingers trained to come down like hammers you just are not going to get the response and efficiency that this piano has to offer.
